The waterproof and vapour permeable multi-stretch cover keeps the mattress clean and is especially useful for incontinent patients. An anti-fungal ingredient is included into the fabric to aid with microbial management. By redistributing the patient’s weight every 10 minutes, the Theia digital mattress pump helps to minimise pressure sores. It accomplishes this by varying the level of inflation in each cell of a pressure relief mattress. In order to stop pressure sores from forming, the pump continuously adjusts the patient’s resting posture.
