The Norfolk Bariatric High Risk Foam Mattress was especially created to accommodate the various body types and weights of bariatric patients. The profile of the mattress has been developed to support patients who weigh more while also maximising pressure re-distribution. The larger cuts in the central section support the core weight of the person and the high density CME foam maintains the user’s exceptional comfort while giving caregivers and nursing staff peace of mind.

The patient’s skin integrity is protected by the multi-stretch, vapour permeable, high frequency welded cover, which also ensures compliance with stringent infection control policies by reducing shear and friction forces.
The Norfolk Bariatric High Risk Foam Mattress has been created for patients who are thought to be at “High Risk” of developing pressure sores.

The 120cm width is ideal for use with most bariatric profiling beds and hospital beds, while the maximum load capacity of 317kg will accommodate the majority of larger patients.
