The bed includes a leg support with a rastofix to allow for individual leg positioning. The four-sectioned profiling mattress support allows for a range of height combinations, providing an ideal position for the carer and comfort for the user

Invacare Essential Plus Mattress

Invacare Essential Plus Mattress is a high quality hospital mattress that has been designed for the community healthcare environment. The Invacare Essential Plus Mattress is comfortable and robust, providing comfort, support and reduction of pressure at a cost effective price. The foam core helps to reduce the pressure and the risk of ulcers as it is built with many smaller cells that move independently to more evenly distribute the weight of the person.

In turn it promotes greater comfort and support as the mattress mould’s the users body shape and allows it to bend when used in conjunction with a profiling bed. The outer cover is polyurethane fabric that is multi-stretch ,water resistant and provides excellent protection that extends the life of the mattress. Combine this with the fact that it can be turned and rotated on both sides to ensure the products longevity is significantly increased. A zip around three side of the profiling mattress makes it easy to inspect any damage to the cover or the centre of the foam.
