The Invacare Etude Plus bed including side rails is built with a deep understanding of comfort and safety needs among users. Auto-Regression provides enhanced comfort when seated and reduced shear/ friction. It also has a lockable hand control for increased safety. The bed features full length side rails in beech which complies with IEC 60601-2-52.
Shear Management Technology
The Etude Plus has an innovative ‘Shear Management Technology’ option that helps to reduce shear and friction forces, which is a vital aspect in preventing pressure ulcers. As the bed profiles, the backrest auto-regression mechanism swings up and back, reducing the likelihood of the customer sliding down the bed.
