The Integra Shell Seat Chair is a specialist tilt-in-space chair designed to support users who require additional assistance with positioning, transfers and everyday seating. Developed for moving and handling in nursing home and healthcare environments, the chair combines supportive seating with practical features that make it easier for carers to manoeuvre and reposition the user.

The gas-assisted tilt-in-space mechanism allows the chair to tilt backwards for a more supportive reclined position and forwards to help the user move towards a standing position. The ergonomically designed push handle and hand lever make adjusting the chair straightforward for the carer, while the adjustable and removable leg rest automatically moves beneath the seat when the chair is tilted forwards, helping the user exit the chair more easily.

The Integra Shell Seat Chair includes an adjustable Velcro headrest to provide additional head and neck support, while the lap belt is supplied as standard. A useful storage pocket on the rear of the chair provides convenient space for personal items or essential accessories.

Manoeuvrability is another important feature of the Integra Shell Chair. The 12.5cm castors rotate through 360 degrees, with two rear castors incorporating brakes. A directional wheel helps the chair travel in a straight line when being moved, making it easier for carers to control during transfers and repositioning. The chair also provides good hoist access for moving and handling.

The Integra Shell Seat Chair is available with 16-inch, 18-inch or 20-inch seat widths, allowing the chair to be selected according to the user’s requirements. All three sizes have a maximum user weight of 120kg (19 stone), a seat depth of 44cm and an 85cm backrest height.
