Sidhil Bradshaw Low Bed – 178kg Electric Profiling Bed

The Sidhil Bradshaw Low Bed is a four-section electric profiling care bed designed for users who require a lower sleeping position while still benefiting from adjustable height and flexible positioning. It is suitable for nursing homes, residential care, homecare and community care environments.

Its key feature is the low mattress platform, which adjusts from approximately 19.2cm to 61.4cm. The low position brings the mattress closer to the floor, which can help reduce the height of a potential fall, while the raised position provides a more suitable height for transfers and everyday care.

The four-section profiling platform provides electrically adjustable backrest and knee-break positioning, together with auto-contour functionality. The auto-regressing backrest moves backwards as it rises, helping to provide additional space around the user and reduce forward movement during profiling.

The Bradshaw Low Bed provides 11° reverse Trendelenburg, with optional Trendelenburg available using a 10-button handset. A manual calf-lift ratchet is also available for additional lower-leg positioning. A range of wooden and metal side rails can be specified to suit different care requirements.

The 90.5 × 199cm mattress platform provides a practical sleeping area, with a 16.5cm bed extension available for taller users. The bed can be assembled and disassembled without specialist tools and stored on transport stands for easier transportation and storage.

With a 178kg maximum user weight and 215kg safe working load, the Bradshaw Low Bed combines a low sleeping position with the practical functionality of an electric profiling care bed.

Features
  • 178kg Maximum User Weight – Supports users up to 178kg (28 stone) with a 215kg safe working load.
  • 19.2–61.4cm Low Platform – The mattress platform lowers to just 19.2cm and rises to 61.4cm, providing a low sleeping position with adjustable working height.
  • Four-Section Electric Profiling – The four-section mattress platform provides electrically adjustable backrest and knee-break positioning for different lying and seated positions.
  • Auto-Regressing Backrest – The backrest moves backwards as it rises, increasing pelvic space and helping reduce forward movement during profiling. (Only with optional 10 but handset)
  • Auto-Contour Positioning – The backrest and knee break can be adjusted together to create a more supportive seated position.
  • 11° Reverse Trendelenburg – The Bradshaw Low Bed provides up to 11° reverse Trendelenburg, with Trendelenburg available using the optional 10-button handset. (Only with optional 10 but handset)
  • Choice of Side Rails – A range of wooden and metal side rails is available, including extended options, with a two-action release mechanism.
  • Transport and Storage Design – The bed can be disassembled and stored on transport stands, making movement and storage easier when required.

Why Choose the Bradshaw Low Bed?

The Sidhil Bradshaw Low Bed is designed for users who need a lower sleeping position without giving up the functionality of an electric profiling care bed.

Its 19.2cm minimum platform height places the mattress much closer to the floor than the standard Bradshaw, which can be useful for users who are at risk of falling from bed. The bed can still be raised to 61.4cm when a higher transfer or working position is required.

The Bradshaw Low also provides several useful positioning functions, including four-section profiling, auto-contour, auto-regressing backrest and reverse Trendelenburg.

A choice of side rails, wood finishes and other accessories allows the bed to be configured for different care environments, while the ability to dismantle and store it on transport stands makes it practical where equipment needs to be moved or stored.

For customers looking for a low electric profiling bed with a 178kg user capacity, the Bradshaw Low provides a strong combination of low height, positioning and practical care features.

* It is advisable to carry out a risk assessment before purchasing the bed.*
