The BD Micro-Fine + 0.3ml insulin syringe is graduated in 1 unit increments and is suitable for doses under 30 units. Insulin needles from Becton Dickinson come in a variety of lengths. The gauge is the needle’s thickness. The thinner the needle, the greater the thickness. 30G needle, 0.30mm outer diameter, and 8mm length.
